Our first real purchase went through the funnel
What the PostHog data actually showed the first time a checkout completed end to end, and the honest gap where organic search data still is not.
A few days after wiring up PostHog funnel tracking, the data caught something real: a full session showing checkout_started, then checkout_completed, then a server-side purchase_completed event, sitting right alongside a waitlist_joined signup. Twenty-three events total in that sample window (2026-08-01 18:39 UTC through 2026-08-02 07:17 UTC) - not a lot, but real, and the first time the whole funnel fired in sequence instead of just existing in code.
The less exciting number, worth stating plainly: Google Search Console returned zero query rows over the last 30 days. The site is too new to have organic search data yet. That is not a failure, just where things actually are - pre-launch, pre-SEO, funnel proven, audience not yet arrived.
Building in public means posting both numbers.
